The View from the Pew

I have a two-page article in the latest Catholic Voice, under the title "The View from the Pew: Diary of a Catholic Layman". In it, I reflect on the difference between Irish and American attitudes to religion, Pope Francis's recent apostolic exhortation The Joy of the Gospel, consumerism, and a few other things. Go on, buy it, it's only one euro!

  1. That's the one on sale in Spar in Ballymun?

  4. It's at the end of the Ballymun Road (the redbrick houses) opposite Albert's Park and the entrance for DCU, a little down from Our Lady of Victories, beside the Matt Weldon pub. Sorry I got you lost! They only ever have a few copies of the Catholic newspapers so not sure they'd still have it. You can also get it in Eason's in O Connell St . Don't know where else.

  5. You didn't get me lost Maolsheachlann. I just wasn't aware that the Ballymun road was that long. I actually thought I knew were the shop was, but I was wrong.
