I was writing a reply to your comment on my smartphone at the weekend (no other computer access) but I managed to lose it!

I think Chapters is a great bookshop, too. It might be my favourite Dublin bookshop, though Book Worms on Abbey Street might shade it. I especially like the second-hand bookshop upstairs, though I think they are a tad expensive for second-hand books.

As for e-books, I know there is a big debate about this, and I'm well used to the "people said television would destroy cinema" line. Basically, I have no time for e-books. I never want to own an e-reader. Reading on a screen is all very well for blogs and articles but I do think that, when it comes to a book, writing should get into its tuxedo. Even if Kindles and e-books don't have the slightest deleterious effect on the production, sale and preservation of printed books...I am STILl against them! How about you?Maolsheachlannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09406722311993627528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7091756463128804432.post-28555213116404512942013-08-24T18:01:23.741-07:002013-08-24T18:01:23.741-07:00Chapters is one of the better book stores in Dubli...Chapters is one of the better book stores in Dublin. They have a great selection of books and I usually feel like kid in a sweet shop when I walk in.

I take it you are not a fan of e-books?theObserverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06487813166705644460noreply@blogger.com
