I would like to wish a happy birthday to Molly Carlson, a long-time Stateside reader of this blog and a friend I've unfortunately never met. Her comments always illuminate this humble corner of cyberspace and I often think they are more interesting than the posts they follow!
Happy birthday, Molly! You probably won't see this today, so I'll say, hope you had a wonderful birthday!
Hear, hear!
ReplyDeleteMal--that is so very, very kind of you. It is hard to put into succinct words just how much your writing has done in firing me to be a more catholic Catholic--never mind a more human human. I am proud to know ya, and I don't say that lightly!
ReplyDeleteYou might be happy to know that my celebratory drink of choice this weekend was entirely due to GKC--I bought a bottle of Henney's Dry Cider just because the beautifully straightforward label says "Herefordshire" on it. As in "the apple wine of Hereford,/ Of Hafod Head/ And Hereford. . ." i.e. it was indeed a happy birthday!
What with the Christmas comings and goings, I might disappear from cyberspace for a bittie, but if it be so, Michelle's and your intentions are among the top things I continue to pray for. May you both have a very blessed Christmas indeed.
You too and I do very much appreciate the prayers, and especially including Michelle's too.
