Why is it wrong to criticize Imelda Marcos?

Because you shouldn't criticize anybody till you've walked a mile in their shoes.

I made up this joke! I make up a lot of jokes. Well, it's more that they occur to me, than that I actively make them up.

    The very thought makes my feet hurt. And all those high heels.

    Maybe you've unwittingly intuited her punishment if she goes to Purgatory. (I had to look her up on Wikipedia just now to get the tense right in that last clause. She's still very much with us at ninety-six.)
