A copy of my book, Inspiration from the Saints, was bought by the James Joyce Library, University College Dublin (where I work) in April and has been borrowed once since then-- by one of my colleagues. (A couple of my colleagues have bought copies and another says she is going to.)
I suppose I shouldn't take this personality because I know from borrowing statistics that lots of books are rarely if ever borrowed.
But it galls me a bit.
A few UCD students have introduced themselves to me over the years, and told me they read my blog. Well, if you are a UCD student, please feel free to borrow my book!
