My office mate (very kindly) read and commented on the snow globe poem that I posted a little while ago. He liked it and made some interesting comments, but I was surprised that the main themes of the poem eluded him. He's a very well-read and literate guy. Maybe I just didn't express them well enough.
I was quite pleased with it, since in both themes and imagery I'd felt I'd put a lot of the things that fascinate me the most into a short poem.
If anyone else feels like casting an eye over it, and telling me what they think its themes are, please do. You can read it here. As I say, it's short. Feel free to suggest improvements!
