Does Anybody Read This Blog Anymore?

In recent months, I've felt like I'm just talking to myself. Which is, of course, what crazy people do.

It could be that my posts became so repetitive and/or eccentric that my little audience just drifted away.

After ten years, I'm too sentimental to retire Irish Papist completely, but perhaps it is time to put it on the backburner.

  1. I've answered a few times but either my phone or the blogspot thing is always changing the system so I don't know what gets to you these days

    1. I'm sorry to hear your comments didn't get through. I turned off comment moderation a good while ago to make it easier, who knows what's happening.

    1. Yes indeed! It's seemed like the Mal and Dominic show for a long time! I greatly appreciate it, and the kind words.

I guess there is always a danger of "losing the room" when you write about poetry-- or even worse, actually write poetry-- but it's a danger I'm increasingly willing to take. But maybe not on this blog.

  4. I check in most every day. An even deeper dive into time-place-memory would make for an excellent series of posts. I very much enjoy your work and would hate to see this become an every now and again (after)thought.

    1. Thanks, Anonymous. That means a lot to me and encourages me. Time, place and memory are a constant preoccupation so I would be happy to oblige in that regard!

  6. I like this blog. You seem to write things which I feel but cannot articulate myself. Please stick with it.
