No, I'd never heard of her either. One thing that is particularly striking, and reassuring, about her is that she has been recognised as a saint in spite of various false accusations. She seems to have been catastrophically misunderstood by her friends, employers, colleagues and family... but the Church has understood her.

DeleteIt's funny when you think that the only thing that ULTIMATELY matters in life is becoming a saint, that anyone who has been so acclaimed wouldn't be well known.
