That it is not intelligent is maybe one of the low-hanging fruit, one of the most basic critiques you could make. And probably not that many people think it is actually intelligent or will soon be, but they are still falling for the more subtle propaganda.
People are implicitly accepting these ideas such that humans will and should work towards a future where we increasingly replace ourselves or that if a technology is promoted enough and has enough money behind it, then you should adopt because all technology is just "neutral".
It's the inhuman ideologies and the totalitarianism that follows behind them that concerns me, so personally, I'm glad to see pushback even at a basic level.
