Well, I feel like a complete and utter idiot. Today I interviewed one of the UCD chaplains, Fr. Leon Ó Giolláin, in his office. He spoke to me for about twenty-five minutes and his answers were absolutely fascinating.
Somehow, I didn't save the recording correctly, and it was all for nothing. I was recording it on my phone and when I went to save it, I managed to lose it.
Apologies to all my readers for the disappointment. I don't know what to say.
Quel désastre! Never mind... these things happen. Since I don't know anything about podcasting, I even thought to myself, how would one make sure of the recording...? Perhaps, if Fr. is willing to be interviewed again at some point, we could think up some different questions.
ReplyDeleteI was very happy with the questions and answers. I'd already had an intimation something might be wrong before I left the office and Fr. Leon suggested we might try again if that was the case. I will certainly have a better recording method if that happens.
DeleteWax cylinders!
DeleteI'm sure I have some lying around the place.
DeleteTry praying to Mother Teresa next time and you might get a 'Muggeridge moment' for the production.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think of that...
DeleteGod's punishment for interviewing a Romish idolater!!
