Ireland's Great Shame

Here is an excellent video from my friend and fellow Angelico Press author, Roger Buck, on the catastrophe of Ireland's vote for abortion on May the 25th. He kindly draws on something I wrote, at one point in the video. Watch and share!

  1. (was it meant to start half way through?)
Although we're neither hobbits or wizards, it struck me the other day how pertinent this piece from Tolkien is:
"'I wish it need not have happened in my time ', said Frodo. 'So do I ', said Gandalf,' and so do all that live in such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us. And already, Frodo, our time is beginning to look black. The enemy is fast becoming very strong...'"

  2. No, it wasn't meant to begin half-way through! I can't seem to correct it so it starts at the very start, though I've got within a few seconds.

The Tolkien quote is very appropriate, indeed, I've often fond myself thinking about it.
