The View from the Pew
I have a two-page article in the latest Catholic Voice, under the title "The View from the Pew: Diary of a Catholic Layman". In it, I reflect on the difference between Irish and American attitudes to religion, Pope Francis's recent apostolic exhortation The Joy of the Gospel, consumerism, and a few other things. Go on, buy it, it's only one euro!

ReplyDeleteIt's at the end of the Ballymun Road (the redbrick houses) opposite Albert's Park and the entrance for DCU, a little down from Our Lady of Victories, beside the Matt Weldon pub. Sorry I got you lost! They only ever have a few copies of the Catholic newspapers so not sure they'd still have it. You can also get it in Eason's in O Connell St . Don't know where else.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't get me lost Maolsheachlann. I just wasn't aware that the Ballymun road was that long. I actually thought I knew were the shop was, but I was wrong.
